Christmas: The Albums You Need And Those You Never Knew You Wanted.
Christmas carols. You either love them or hate them, the tumultuous topic dividing activists and grinches since the dawn of time. Feelings aside, you have to admit the festive season wouldn't be quite right without them. This however does not mean we condone the 2009 release of All I Want For Christmas (Mariah's New Dance Mixes), David Hasslehoff's The Night Before Christmas or Carly Rae Jepsen's Last Christmas. In fact, I personally blame these lacklustre, pure revenue driving releases for the increasing number of holiday music haters. Can you tell which side of the fence I sit on? Yep, I even have a real baby Christmas tree on my desk. I fight the daily fight for Yuletide cheer in the BNKR office. I'll admit it is a struggle to see the light with impending deadlines and increasing workload. This said, it is my sincere hope to still enjoy the lead up and I plan do so with the help of seriously feel good, musically sound, all round gosh darn enjoyable Christmas albums.
Lucky for you, I've sifted through the really (some surprisingly) bad ones and left you with a joyous selection to choose from - you'll 100% want to click play.
