Athletic Aesthetic: Dasha Gaivoronski for BNKR
Sportif-inspired style has been on the rise for a while now. From Chloé's SS16 tracksuit revival to Alexander Wang's signature sporty-meets-minimal look - not to mention the rising presence of the backpack as an It bag - an athletic aesthetic has become a staple of street style the world over. While many of us choose to work out in old band tees and thinning leggings, there's a certain confidence that comes from stepping into that room of sweaty bodies, weight racks and whirring treadmills in fresh new gear. We may not all be able to afford Balenciaga, and we're not endorsing yoga pants as a legitimate piece of clothing either. But we've definitely jumped on the fitwear as fashion bandwagon.
And so we teamed up with health, lifestyle + fashion blogger Dasha Gaivoronski of Bags and Bunnies - who has recently celebrated the launch of her own personal training business DashBody - to highlight how fashion and fitness can actually work together. So whether you're on the street or the cross trainer, sweat in style kids.
