New Year. Same You. New Wardrobe.
New year, new you? If we’ve learnt anything from Bridget Jones it’s that you can try new things and meet new people but chances are you’re just going to continue being the very same you. To be honest, I’m fine with it. I can’t say how well I’d deal with having some sort of Freaky Friday/17 Again scenario on my hands.
However, what I am in favour of are new experiences, new friends and new fashion. I can’t imagine where I’d be today if I hadn’t quit listening to Simple Plan and combing the entire front section of my hair into a side fringe (c’mon no judgement—we’ve all been there).
2016 was my Wednesday Adams year. As an estimate, I’d say I wore all black for at least 90 percent of the year. Sound depressing? Not to me. There's nothing simpler than black on black. Plus it cuts down on minutes and brainpower in the mornings.
So what will 2017 bring? My all black outfits are here to stay, for emergencies and IDGAF kind of days, that’s for sure. But in the interest of new beginnings, new fashions must be sought out.
That’s where we come in. Try any of the following for an instant style update. New year, same you, new wardrobe.
