Hi.

Welcome to my blog. I document my adventures in travel, style, and food. Hope you have a nice stay!

1 On 1: Album Swap

1 On 1: Album Swap

Your favourite album is a precious thing. Minutes of solace, brimming with memories, perfect lyrics and those wonderfully familiar melodies - basically all the feels.

And letting someone listen to your favourite songs - and by extension, you? Things can get real personal - and real judgmental - real quick.

We asked this of two of our favourite BNKR graphic designers. Did they agree? Or disagree? Or agree to disagree? Find out.

#1 Dads – About Face

Sounds like: Napping in the sun - don’t listen to this when you’re trying to get motivated for work in the morning, it'll just make you want to crawl back under the covers.

Best track:So Soldier - nice intro hook.

Worst track:Camberwell - talk singing is not my favourite style.

Pros: Good way to get your heart rate down and relax.

Cons: Songs sound pretty similar.

Album Artwork: 9 – nice colours, excellent typeface.

If this album was an object it would be… A pillow, the large soft kind.

Unknown Mortal Orchestra – II

Sounds like: Whammy riffs and fingerpicked echoes distorted by a funky, nostalgic sound. Young men and women singing through a preloved megaphone.

Best track: One at a Time.

Worst track: Dawn – a bit too space cadet.

Pros: Upbeat bliss, yet reflective.

Cons: The heavy drums overpower at times.

Album Artwork: 7 – a little vague with no type. Probably the mystery they were striving for...

If this album was an object it would be… A fondue set.
